This term in Science, students have been learning about erosion and its effects on the Earth. There is no cost for this excursion.  Students will need to wear comfortable closed in walking shoes and their full school uniform, including their hat.  Please also ensure sunscreen is applied prior to school and that your child brings a drink bottle.

It is a medium level walk appropriate for children and it has panoramic views. The walk up the mountain itself takes about 20 minutess. We will allow 2 hours to walk from Peregian Springs State School along The Avenue, Havana Rd West, over the Bridge, then along Havana Rd East and then climb Mt Emu opposite Coolum High School.  We will leave at 11:00 and return by 1:00.

We would like parent helpers to walk with us, so please advise your child’s class teacher if you are available.
