Additional information which may assist if things go wrong

The following article by Michael Grose, 'When kids experience problems at school,' outlines what parents can do to support their child if something goes wrong at school. The seven points outlined in the article are:
•    Be empathetic first
•    Sit calmly with your child and take your time
•    Get all the facts
•    Assess whether to go to the school to sort out or not
•    Use the right channels if you take the issue to the school
•    Look for solutions rather than blame
