March Friday- Purple Hair!!!
For Project Compassion we are raising
awareness of hydrocephalus with our favourite Super Hero Hydro-Girl! School awareness has been raised
about this condition during Performing Arts when studying Superheroes in Year 2.
For the past few years our students have
acted out Superhero Action Drama based on the Hydro Girl Superhero comic and have
liaised with the real-live superhero 'Hydro Girl'
who has Hydrocephalus. (Sarah Renehan) https://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-06-13/superheros-and-shunts-hydro-girl/8614242

awareness of hydrocephalus.
The Hydrocephalus Support Association (HSA) is a not-for
profit organisation whose core mission is to support people with hydrocephalus and their families
to overcome disadvantage,
strengthen their abilities and successfully live independently.
The philosophy of the organisation is underpinned by peer support and advocacy,
and the association is run by volunteer members for the benefit members.
