Our school community is proud of our school uniform and takes pride in the way children present themselves. We note that children who present at school in clean and tidy uniforms are often better behaved and more attentive in class.
The school colours are navy (ink), white and emerald green.
Our Student Dress Code
Peregian Springs State School’s Student Dress Code June 2020.pdf has been developed in accordance with the relevant legislation, both State and Commonwealth. It consists of an agreed upon standard and items of clothing, and includes a specified school uniform.
Peregian Springs State School P&C Association supports school staff to promote 100% adherence to the wearing of the school uniform in the following instances:
Attending or representing their school during school hours:
Travelling to and from school.
Engaging in school activities out of school hours.
As a school we believe that student dress codes provide clothing that aims to contribute to a safe and supportive teaching and learning environment through.
Ready identification of students and non-students at school.
Fostering a sense of belonging.
Developing mutual respect among students by minimising visible evidence of economic or social differences.
Eliminating the distraction of competition in dress and fashion at school.
Our student dress code reflects school community standards and is consistent with occupational health and safety and anti-discrimination legislation.
School staff will actively encourage all students to take pride in themselves and their school. One way in which this is achieved is through adherence to the school’s student dress code. As the parent/carer and provider of your child, we seek your support in this matter.

All students will need a library bag for borrowing books and other resources from the Resource Centre. This ensures our valuable resources are protected. A library bag is for sale from the uniform shop.
Peregian Springs State School bags are available from the Uniform shop. These are an optional item but are of a good quality and large enough to hold books, lunch boxes and other items.
Students may wear one set of stud or ring earrings and a watch. All other jewellery is considered to be a workplace health and safety risk and must be left at home. Students will be asked to remove jewellery worn to school.
Our Dress Code which was developed in consultation with the school community requires students to be in black shoes. We highly recommend good quality black joggers as students are running on hard surfaces a few times a day. We ask all parents to cooperate by investing in black shoes such as those in the photo below.
