A reminder that this Friday (26/11) is our swimming carnival day for ALL Yr 4,5,6 students at St Andrews Aquatic centre. All students need to assemble at PSSS to mark rolls and receive instructions. All competitive and non-competitive swimmers will return to school to school by approximately 1.30 pm.
The 50m pool will be divided in half to make a 25m competitive event and a 25m fun event for non-competitive swimmers.
Spectators are welcome to attend – please sign in at the gate and seat in the marked area of the grandstand. Note the café will not be available for student purchases.
For non-competitive swimmers
- They will walk from school to St Andrews with staff in their swimming gear and will spend an hour with their year level having freestyle races, noodles races and a free swim before they return to school
- Approx times Year 4 (9.30-10.30am), Year 5 (10.45-11.45am) then Year 6 (12-1pm)
- Students without consent or without swimming gear will remain at school and be supervised in another year level during this time. Consent
For competitive swimmers
- They will walk from school to St Andrews with staff and will need to bring their lunch and drink.
- First event starts at approx. 9.30am, with the order of events below.
Please ensure you child has sun safe swimming gear for the day which includes rashie, school hat and sunscreen.
