We are excited to launch our new venture, Little Springers Playgroup. Our goal is to bring together our local community enabling families to make new connections, have a safe space to be and to feel connected whilst raising our next generation.
- Age: Children 0-5.
- Time: 9:00 am to 10:15 am every Thursday (06 October - 08 December 2021)
- Who: A responsible adult (parent, grandparent, uncle etc.) will be required to attend, supervise and interact in our sessions.
- Where: Learning Enhancement Centre. Peregian Springs State School. 191 The Avenue.
- Cost: Gold coin donation
According to research, the benefits of playgroup are seen across all domains of children’s physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development and communication.
You and your child will participate in age-appropriate play-based activities, including obstacle courses, catching and throwing, painting, art and craft, nature-based play, singing, dancing, storytime and fine-motor tasks. It will be a fun, interactive and active session.
These activities will be led by PSSS early years staff to ensure high quality activities, learning and interactions, although it is expected that attending adults will be involved and participate with their child/children.
