All state schools have a designated catchment area. The equal distance point between neighbouring state schools determines each state school’s catchment area. All students who live within the catchment area are automatically eligible to enrol in their local school, however eligibility criteria exists to regulate 'out of catchment' enrolments in new schools.
Our enrolment management plan ensures that the school retains capacity to serve the community for which it is built. An EMP documents the eligibility criteria for students to enrol at the school who live outside of the school's catchment area.
