Guidance officers
Guidance Officers work co-operatively with students, parents and staff to enhance learning outcomes for students through counselling, assessment, program planning and group work. Teachers and parents can refer children to the Guidance Officer through the Student Support Team.
Speech language pathologist
Speech Language Pathologists provide assessment services for students who have special needs in

- Fluency (e.g. stuttering)
- Voice
- Social interaction skills
- Eating and drinking
- Speech
- Alternative and augmentative communication systems.
Speech Language Pathologists and teachers work together using an integrated classroom-based program to provide services to students with speech and language impairments. Services include assessment of individuals, consultancy services and training for teachers and parents.
