Families are invited to attend a variety of informal events and workshops designed to smooth the pathway to Prep 2024. All families are welcome, whether you have enrolled your child, are yet to do so, or are undecided about where to go in 2024 😊
- Invitations to attend an interview and to book Uniform Shop fittings are sent once we have received all of your enrolment documentation.
- Out of catchment applications will be reviewed later in the year.
Peregian Play
A valuable opportunity for you and your child to attend informal playgroups. Families are invited to attend Peregian Play sessions. You can select to attend as many as you like!
Parents can meet other families and children can familiarise themselves with the Prep environment through play - there may be a story or 2!

Developing a love of Literacy
All families interested in enrolling their child for Prep 2024 at Peregian Springs State School, are invited to attend. (Although this workshop is intended for parents and carers, your young children are welcome to attend with you.)
Providing parents and carers with tips and advice including:
- reading with your child
- quality literature
- print in the environment
- sharing resources
- ideas for hands on - fun games, ideas and activities for you and your child

As part of our ongoing Prep transition program, we are pleased to announce a Treasure Hunt Open Day! Enrolled and non-enrolled families are invited - everyone is welcome to attend!
