Absence during Covid 19 - Term 2 2020
Each day, before 9:30am all students must complete the Online Roll Marking survey, which is on the front page of the Student Springers' Learning Hub. This link closes at 9:30am and cannot be used again until the next morning. (The exception will be Monday 20 April where the link will remain active until 11:00am)
If your child is sick or will not be participating in Learning @ Home on a particular day, parents must inform the school of this 'absence' as per normal procedures. This ensures we can maintain accurate attendance records and meet the requirements of Central Office who are gathering numbers of students attending school or learning at home each day.
For 1-10 day absences:
Absence 1 - 10 days
For longer periods of absence - 10 days or more
For known longer periods of absence please complete a form from our office or complete the online form.
Providing work for your child during absence from school.
Class teachers do not provide work for students going on holidays during term time. You may wish to talk to your class teacher about accessing our online learning sites such as Reading Eggs and Mathletics. Alternatively here is a travel-pack.pdf
which you can print off and complete with your child while you are away.
If your child is absent due to lengthy illness please contact your class teacher for suggestions and information about possible work to complete at home.

It is essential that the School Office maintain up-to-date records of your address, telephone numbers, email addresses and emergency contacts in case of illness or injury to your child. If we do not have correct contact information about your family, your child may spend unnecessary time in our First Aid room.
