Students compete in their house teams to challenge themselves and encourage others to participate in track and field events. Year 4-6, 10-12 year-old competitors who place in the top 2 in each event have the opportunity to represent Peregian Springs State School at the Noosa District Track & Field Carnival.

Events:
Year 4-6 Girls and Boys - 800m, 200m, 100m (9 Years 80m), Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put (Competition age group as at end of this year 31/12/2024)
- Year 3: 80m and rotational games
- Year 1 and 2: 60m and rotational games
- Prep and C&K: 50m and rotational games
