Day for Daniel

Friday 29 October is Day for Daniel. We recognise this day as a way of raising awareness about child protection. We invite children to wear a red t-shirt to school instead of their school shirt. Please note, this is not a free dress day – if children do not have a red t-shirt they are expected to be in their school shirts.

Please talk with your child about who in their lives they can go to if they feel unsafe. A general rule of thumb is for them to use their hand and name five people they can talk to. Teachers have been reinforcing this in class this week.

N.B. It is also our Bandana Week - wear your bandana as well for 'Canteen' helping young people with cancer.
